From preparing meals to leading workshops for our clients to helping in the office, volunteers provide vital support that keeps our programs running. Adopt-a-Meal Program Purchase, prepare, and serve dinner or sack lunches at our Adult Center or Family Center Commitment: Once a month for one year Please click here for more information. Kitchen Volunteers Help prepare and serve breakfast and lunch at our Adult Center shelter Monday through Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM or 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Commitment: Weekdays – one shift per week for a minimum of one month; Saturdays – nine months Kitchen volunteers must be 14 years or older. Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinners-in-the Park Every year Union Station brings together thousands of volunteers to serve bountiful meals and holiday cheer to our less fortunate community members.
