At Union Station, volunteers make our work possible. Become part of the solution and volunteer for Union Station today! Ongoing opportunities are outlined below.

  • Join our Young Professionals

Commitment: Once a month for one year.
  • Kitchen Volunteers: Help prepare and serve breakfast and lunch at our Adult Center shelter Monday through Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM or 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Kitchen volunteers must be 14 years or older.
Commitment: Once a week for at least three months.
  • Administrative Volunteers: Provide assistance with office tasks such as preparing mailings, filing, receptionist duties, copying, and computer work (data input, word processing).
Commitment: Once a week (weekdays) for at least three months.
  • Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinners-in-the-Park: Every year, Union Station brings together thousands of volunteers to serve bountiful meals and holiday cheer to our less fortunate community members. Volunteers are needed to donate and cook food, help with setup and breakdown and serve meals.
